Project SUCCESS:  Schools Using Coordinated Community Efforts to Strengthen Students

  • Informing students about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs
  • Providing support and services to students experiencing stress
  • Teaching about peer pressure, managing anger and coping skills
  • Referring students who need additional help to services on campus or in the community
  • Partnering with school administrators, teacher and outside agencies to create a safe, inviting environment for students

How Do Students Access Services?

  • Project SUCCESS is a voluntary program

  • Students can self-refer or may be referred to Project SUCCESS by parents, peers, school administrators, or faculty

  • Referral forms are located outside of Project SUCCESS (A-38) in the main office building 

  • Referrals by parents, peers, school administrators or faculty can be anonymous

How Does it Work?

Project SUCCESS is a student assistance program designed to identify and support students and their families through times of stress. The program focuses on enhancing life skills for students and reducing barriers to academic success by addressing the early stages of high-rish behavior among youth.

A Project SUCCESS Counselor is placed at the school to provide a range of services:
